Today, Samsung officially released the Galaxy S24 series of mobile phones at the Galaxy Unpacked conference. There are three models in the series, the Galaxy S24 starts at $799.99, the Galaxy S24 Plus starts at $999.99, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra starts at $1,129.99, which is an increase from the price of its predecessor. 
Samsung's official website in China also released the price of the early edition of the national bank, with the Galaxy S24 early edition starting at 5,999 yuan, the Galaxy S24 Plus starting at 7,499 yuan, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra starting at 10,199 yuan. The Walker version not only has an earlier shipping time, but also gives a Samsung Pioneer medal gift box and enjoys more purchase benefits. 
The international and domestic versions of Samsung's Galaxy S24 series phones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Galaxy processors, while in Europe, Samsung's own Exynos 2400 for Galaxy chips will be used. Galaxy S24 series are equipped with Galaxy AI, with AI function, the official emphasis on the Galaxy S24 series in matting search, real-time translation, semantic understanding, debris elimination ability. 
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is still the most changed model, not only has a new titanium body, greatly improved wear and drop resistance. And the screen has eliminated the curved part, the size remains 6.8 inches, and the resolution is still 2K. The frame of the body is more flat, and the whole phone has become a boxy shape. Xiaobian is more looking forward to the grip of this phone. SPen has been retained, and the machine supports IP68 class dust and water resistance. 
The Galaxy S24 Ultra rear camera also has a big change, Samsung replaced the previous 10 megapixel 10x zoom camera with the current 50 megapixel 5x zoom camera, and achieved 10x magnification through lossless cutting zoom. Although it's no longer the original focal length, Samsung claims that the Galaxy S24 Ultra's 10x zoom image quality is actually an improvement over the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The new 5x zoom lens has a larger aperture and sensor area, and it is believed that the Galaxy S24 Ultra's night shooting performance at the telephoto end will be significantly improved compared to the price. The hardware of the remaining four cameras hasn't changed much from last year, including the 200-megapixel f / 1.7 main camera, the 10-megapixel 3X telephoto camera and the 12-megapixel ultra-wide Angle camera, as well as the 12-megapixel selfie camera on the front. 
Samsung's Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus largely continue the design of last year's S23 series, with aluminum bezels. The Galaxy S24 has a 6.2-inch screen size and the Galaxy S24 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen size, which is 0.1 inch higher than the previous model, while the resolution has been improved from 1080P to 2K, and the battery is slightly larger. Both phones also support IP68 level dust and water resistance. 
The main camera specs for the Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus are the same as last year. Both phones still come with three cameras, a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10-megapixel 3X optical zoom telephoto camera. 
Along with the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, One UI 6.1 comes with built-in Galaxy AI, which is equipped with on-premises and cloud-based AI capabilities and runs Google's Gemini base model. The AI functions that can be implemented are:
Circle to Search: This feature allows users to search for any image, video, or text on the screen by circling, highlighting, doodling, or clicking without taking a screenshot, and quickly get the information they need.
Live Translate: This feature can translate calls into natively supported languages in real time, breaking the language barrier instantly. With real-time translation, users can confidently communicate across languages, becoming a truly global communication tool.
Note Assist: This feature aims to revolutionize note-taking by automating tedious tasks such as summarising information, formatting and even translating notes, becoming a powerful tool for productivity and organization.
In the performance of AI capabilities, the three new machines have the same performance, and the official has not yet made it clear whether all the relevant functions of Galaxy AI can be transferred to the past models through OTA. 
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is a regular upgrade, based on the good enough S23 series with minor fixes, a new processor and camera, and built-in AI technology that is currently hot. For the first time, the S24 Ultra uses a titanium body, which greatly improves the reliability of the phone. Standing on the shoulders of giants, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will undoubtedly be one of the best phones of 2024.
